Create a signature look at your wedding with various types of confetti. The traditional cut-out punch holes are a thing of the past, not to mention that many venues dont allow them anymore.
I know that there are a couple of alternative options out there (and Im sure a lot more), but here are some great idea that I managed to find for fabulous alternatives to traditional wedding confetti.

Mizz Calla Lilly posted a great blog on Cinderella Wands Cinderlla Ribbon Wands. These are very different and unique. You can personalise them with your names, wedding date or other things that may be special to you on your wedding day. Things Like “I Do” or “Happily Ever After”. Ribbon wands also make great gifts for your guests and beautiful photo opportunities.

I would like to write about the ceremony today… Earlier I met with a bride and her 3 bridesmaids. The bride is a very sweet girl in her early 20s. She is very beautiful and a quite girl. We were going through the details of the wedding when I suggested that we needed to talk about the ceremony. The bride looked at me in total horror and confessed she does not know much about the ceremony and her bridesmaids rolled their eyes giggled and declared that they have to intention of standing there for a long time… so no long/drawn out sermons PLEASE!

This saddened me a great deal. After all, the ceremony is the reason why the whole thing is happening. Otherwise, you might as well just go out to a restaurant for a meal! Ok… I am finished venting. (I know that not everybody is like that)

I found these gorgeous lollipop invites online (don’t ask me where I found it, I was just so excited that I saved the image and forgot to credit it). I want to create my programs from this design, I think they tie in perfectly with my black and white 40’s theme and they also fit in with my candy bar and all sorts wedding.

I don’t know how much info I could fit on this program, but all I really want to include is the bridal party and one of the hymns we will be singing. I really like the monogrammed initial on the back of this lollipop design, but if we’re doing the hymn, then I think I’ll have to lose the monogram :(
I read in a Brit bridal mag that a couple had passed around little minature bells ater their ceremony instead of confetti and had their guest `ring in` their new life together as they passed them exiting the chapel.

Have a look at the sample of the inside of our hymn books. I had a white “leather looking” paper as the cover, baby pink shimmer paper inside and a see-through, tracing paper as well. We then had a piece of glitter ribbon on the front with three see through plastic butterflies attached to silver and white beaded balls in-between each butterfly. It looked stunning.

Instead of having someone sing or having the formal church ceremony we played three songs. When I walked into the chapel the song played was Celine Dion - I want you to need me. When we signed the register the song that was played was David Gray - the One I love. The song that played when we walked out the chapel was Kci & jojo - All my life. It was incredible and added such a nice touch to the wedding! :)
Im trying to workout my ceremony music and see which songs etc I want to have played at the ceremony. We’re going to have an organist (although the Sax would have been my first choice but budget calls). I cant say that Im a big fan of the traditional bridal march - I want something with a difference.
Any advice or different ideas?
