Well, today the rest of my family (father and brother) arrived from Greece.  My mom has been since last week Sunday and now that everyone is here, things are really exciting.

Were working through all the music that will be played at the wedding.  Being Greek, were trying to figure out which songs will be best to play on the night and then how to combine it with english tunes.  Its fun, but I hope we havent left it too late.

Any other music ideas or suggestions?

This morning was probably the first time I woke up with butterflies in my tummy.  As I woke up (at 6am for some strange reason – excitement perhaps?) I felt so nervous.  I thought to myself, that this time next week, Ill be getting married in a couple of hours! Scary thought, but in a nice sort of way.

With only  a week away, I still have so much to do.  So, today Im going to finalise my wedding programmes and design them as well as all the other stationary and name settings etc.

I have spent a great deal of time searching the net for the perfect wedding dress, but nothing seems to really stand out.  I do have a few styles that I really like, but Im struggling to decide on which dress I like the most.

Id like to open up the topic in here as a lot girls have been asking my advice on batchelorette and hens parties and I am by no means an expert.  So, girls share your ideas, lets here what you did or what had been done to you…

Mr Tulip has two little nephews who are the cutest things  and we’ve decided to use them as ring bearers for our wedding.  However instead of having one of them carry the rings, we’ve decided to have each nephew hold thier own pillow with one of our rings attached to it.

I made some progress for the wedding preparations so far and the sales guy at Carducci managed to somehow convince me from changing Mr Tulips carefully planned out white or cream tie to a silver one instead.  I bought the tie so there is no going back now…. I’m sure though that it will look fabulous nonetheless…..

I also managed to find a pair of beautiful silver and zirconia earrings after shopping at Gateway from 12 in the afternoon to 6pm! Not only that but I found my wedding band, phoned Mr Tulip and got him to come check it out, he liked it and its now gone in for sizing.  Funny enough, I picked the cheapest one hehe – and I love it!!!

I tried my wedding dress on or the first time on Saturday and although it still needs a bit of finishing touches I`m so happy with it and its exactly what I wanted. I’d post some fitting pics, but remember…suprises, suprises ;-)
