Yvette will cover your wedding for six hours and provide you with at least 160 quality images.  These images will all be supplied on compact disk (no prints included, but you can choose to purchase the prints from her). The photos will be a combination of the Bridal Preparations, Photos of the Bride and Groom, Family pics, Ceremony and Reception snap shots, giving you some great memories.

Sounding good?  If you want Yvette to snap your wedding,  you must be prepared to cover Yvette’s travelling/ accommodation costs if need be.  She is based in Cape Town, but is willing to shoot your wedding anywhere, provided that the above mentioned is covered.  That’s a small price to pay when you take into consideration the fees of wedding photographers.  You must also be willing to grant Yvette permission to use your portfolio for marketing and PR purposes.- Pretty fair, huh?

“To answer about my photographic style, here are the three comments I hear most  “Your photos are so natural and unposed” , “Your photography is very arty”  and “I love your lighting” so I’d say that’s it, relaxed and easy but with the view to creating a shot you want to see framed and not just because it’s your wedding. While a small amount of posing is needed I can’t stand the old style of posing every photo, it looks so boring. A wedding is fun it should look fun in the photos too J I also like to try different stuff when the wedding lends itself (you will see that if you visit my site), sometimes couples are totally keen to experiment other times they just want to get to the party; I read that and work accordingly.”

I’m pretty easy to get along with and totally hyperactive, my mother hated that, my wedding clients love it! I’m all over the place all of the time, people regularly comment about my energy. I work with a lot of people that really don’t like to be photographed, especially the guys so I use my sense of humour to make them laugh with or at me. I know I’d like to work with someone that relaxes me so I do my best to do the same for my clients.

Tips for new brides:
It’s not exactly my day but I’d say relax if you can, enjoy it! From a photographers point of view I’d say keep the flowers low at the main table, it makes it very difficult during speeches to get good candid shots. For all other tables make sure the flower arrangement column is thin and tall if there are a lot of flowers guests can at least speak to each other without peering around a huge arrangement, the other alternative is keep things low. If there are lots of politics at the wedding then perhaps put a hedge across the middle of the table LOL!

If you have a gazebo resist the urge to hang flowers at face height, this really hampers photos (lower or higher than face height is fine), after all you really want to make it easy for your photographer to get the best photos possible.

Look after your service providers at the reception make sure they have somewhere to sit and something to eat; you don’t want a grumpy photographer or DJ because you did not feed them ;) I have it stipulated in my contract but some don’t.
