With only a colour scheme decided on, (yup - no venue, no photographer, no dress…) my thoughts turn to that most wonderful of things, the cake! I’m not a fruitcake kinda gal, so when I found this little slice of chocoholic’s heaven how could I not share?
I like chocolate and I like it dark, but if you’re going with lighter colours, a picnic or a beachy kind of theme check out the cupcakes, I just want to eat them all!!

I’m up in the (very) sleepy hollow of ‘Maritzburg QueenBee - are you refering to the GLORIOUS Arriba Chocolates by any chance? Ooooh I wish I had a hundred stomachs to fill and an immunity to weight gain!!
Hell Yeah - Arriba makes the most De-VINE choclate cakes ever!!! Our wedding cake was from them and one of my hubbys best men brough it to the venue, which was in the Midlands - It travelled safe :)
The cake was so Damn delish that we were eating the left overs for a week later! I didnt mind a single gram of pure, solid fat i gained over that awesome cake! :)
AFTER much decisions, and even changing the cake three times from two tier, to cup cakes, to brownies, back to a thee tier cake. THEN we wanted carrot, or sponge. BUT then Mr. CL wanted something chocalte.. SO I decided to have a three tier Chocolate cake! Yaaayaaaa..
(Only thing is, I dont eat chocolate cake ?) lol
Last wedding I went to the bride chose a carrot cake with choc chips in it - AMAZING! Might be a nice compromise Mizz CL?
