I came across this idea…
Plant a tree somewhere special in honour of your wedding and visit it on special anniversaries. Check with local municipalities regarding tree planting programs.
When the tree is large enough carve your initials, and show your children where those initials are, so they too can find them on special occasions - perhaps even their own wedding day?!

That is a lovely idea Mrz Splended! I remeber when we were looking for venues in the Midlands, there was a venue, I think it was Lythwood Lodge, that each couple gets to plant a tree on thier wedding day.
