I’m quite lucky cos my venue does the draping for no extra cost. Its included in the price per person iguess.
But i’m getting gold overlays (bought the material myself and paid about R240 and then we getting the wooden logs thingys which are R75 each
I can’t answer because the budget is just HAPPENING around me with no control (which means, essentially, that there is no budget anymre, even though I know we need one!). I really want to buy the material for table runners and make them, but it all depends how much it costs.
Perfect wedding decor….with so many pic’s online, I saved all the interesting ones and after much deliberation, we decided on the things we wanted for our decor. Then the hunt began. And let me tell you, it took about 5 trips to Durban, lots of patience and figuring out! But now, 21 days before our big day, we almost have everything. We made EVERYTHING ourselves runners, overlays, our napkin rings, gifts, glass and candelabra decor, etc. It took a lot of time, but I truly think that it will be worth it. Cost wise, I can’t say we saved, but we have exactly what we wanted. I’ll let you know in 21 days if it was worth all the effort.
Lynx, I can’t wait to see photos! I love DIY wedding stuff.
