Making your own invitations is so rewarding and challenging:). There are so many sites available on the net where u can pick up awesome invitation templates:

I also made my own invites, firstly to save money but mostly because I wanted to. In the end I really made nice invites, but they didnt save me much at all :)
I had a pink damask wallpaper style printed on a shimmery white paper. I had them glued onto a bronze board in the same style paper. I added in the “details” (which are very important to me)… I started by threading a brown satin ribbon through our monogrammed initials and I ironed on a diamante rhinestone on each of our initials - It looked really nice.
If you are making your own, one suggestin I have, is DONT USE GLUE! Its messy and it looks horrid on your invite! You also dont want it coming apart when it reaches your guest. For mine, I got this slim two way tape from the craft shop to bind my invites and it looked really neat and professional and didnt come apart :)
I am making my own!I am blessed that my graphic team are eager to help out and I want something quite simple.
I am only in the perlim stages but I am already loving it, I couldn’t imagin letting someone else making my invites :)
I have an idea of how I want mine, bought some stuff, BUT haven’t really decided on what I want ? Or how I will make them. Time is closing on me, and I need help.. LOL
