Hi there ladies, sorry for not blogging for so long, but things have just been so hectic… But Im back now and ready to start posting again.
First up, thank you so much to Mizz Honey suckle for posting that link to Andrea Carlyle’s wedding blog…. I think I have just found a great inspiration for my table seating plan.

The table seating “chart” looks so much more elegant than an actual chart and I love the crystals that have been used. Im going to play around with this design and work it on my black and white wallpaper theme —

I know, isn’t it stunning? The funny thing is I was already doing something similar for my table name list with the hanging crystal thing, but this picture just brought my vague idea to life! So you and I are going to have similar stationery, especially with our damask patterns! It’ll be fun to compare!
I bought some crystals today - more on that later!
The table names on the tables will be different though, as I’m doing clapper boards and framed photos of classic Hollywood stars.
I also had my name cards hanging from crystals - the photographer didnt get a chance to photograph it though, because people took their names off the tree as they walked in - which I didnt mind… Luckily I got a shot of it on my own camera. I actaully documented the whole thing, so Ill do a post on that soon.
I’m going to let my photographer loose in the reception hall before the guests even arrive to the ceremony! I want some great photos of all the details and my DIY stuff. But I’m still going to take some of my own, just in case.
Luckily mine managed to sneak a few shots, but he spent a lot of time with me, so it was just a couple of venue shots. The one of my tables was taken before the florist sprinkled the rose petals, but Its my fault, I should have briefed him on what the decor was going to be.
My suggestion… make sure you communicate with your photographer about the little bits and bobs you want noticed, so that he/she can make sure they get them :)
Oh, it came up at our first meeting with her! I can’t remember which of us brought it up, but she says she always photographs the decor before people get there and mess it up. She has a second shooter always, so one of them does it while the other one stays with the bride, I think.
