The engagement
My fiance knows me so well, I love sparkly, shiny, pretty things! So anything to do with fairies, butterflies and glittery stuff would make me completely happy!!  He had organised for us to go down to the venue where we were to be married at. That night was a beautiful night, the stars shinning so brightly and the river so calm and relaxed. He had gotten the wedding planner to set out a picnic underneath my favorite trees - willow trees. He also had her hang fairy lights amungst the trees.

He took me down to the river to walk along the riverside, when we stopped to stare into the river, suddenly there was a ray of bright shinning lights from behind us. I turned around only to see my fiance on his knee and all these pretty, sparkley lights hanging from the trees reflecting off my diamond ring, It was beautiful!

The wedding
As I said before, I am a fantasy girl, I live in my own fairytale world, so that was to be my wedding theme! I wanted to be the princess who had found her prince!!
We had the theme down to the tee, from the invites all the way to the cushion which held the rings! It was so carefully thought out! it was brilliant!

The invite was a story about me, being the princess, found a frog, kissed his nose and he turned into my prince who I was to marry! The picture in the invite was me and my fiance in a garden with a castle behind us! My favorite colours are what I choose for my wedding colours, and luckily he likes them too:-)

I am a dance teacher, and I have a few girls who I teach that I am very close to, who were my bridesmaids and then I had 2 maids of honour, my sister-in-law and my best friend! They all wore purple! I wanted my bridesmaids to wear wings, but we made their dresses to look like a butterfly in the front, with sparkles everywhere instead! The best men wore shiney silver shirts with the teal blue ties. I had a frog ornament from which opened and had our rings in, which the ring bearers carried.

I needed a dress with lots of sparkles and that was big and poofy and tight around my waist, with my back open! I also needed the big poofy part to come off, so that my husband and I could do our tango dance. The lady who made my dress was excellent, I just told her what I wanted and she did it! our wedding song, my husband and I wrote and recorded it! We had played the instruments and sang in the song! It was a perfect personal touch! It was so us! My bridesmaids and I also did a dance together! My dad and I also had our fair share of dancing, from a father, daughter loving dance mixing into a up beat dance!

The hall was decorated with fairylights over every wall and the ceiling, it was a room filled with tiny sparkly lights, with white draping and little butterflies everywhere! We had all the guests names printed on their napkins that they could take home! The cake was a double stack chocolate gino ginellli ice cream cake, with chocolate pipes all the way around. We also had a glass ornament of cinderella and her prince on their wedding day at the top of the cake.

My whole wedding was so original and so me and my new husband! Only the people who know us would understand everything that happened at our wedding! It was glamorous, glittery, sparkly, happy and so original! It was perfect!

The honeymoon
The honeymoon wasn’t the ideal place I would’ve liked to have gone, but it was all we could afford! We went to Durban, I am a big fan of durban beach front, I grew up there, so that is like my home! We stayed in a hotel near the top floor, so we woke up to the beautiful sun and ocean outside on the veranda every morning! we went out, shopping, to the beach, theme parks, water slides, casinos (I was asked for ID, because I look so young) It was just so nice to be away with only each other! It was very relaxing and so nice to be back at Durban, going to all the new places in Durban.
