Dazzling Damask
Damask really seems to be one of the most popular wedding themes these days. I think it’s the combination of glamour and glitz with a spice of modern day living. I for one, am a huge fan.
I found this amazing gallery on photographer Jennifer Skog’s blog and I couldn’t resist making an inspiration board for this great colour combination. Believe it or not all this glitz and glam was all done for a bridal shower.
There is just something about the green that adds that extra bit of boldness to the black and white damask and it looks fabulous in photos too.
It looks so gorgeous with green! As you know, I’m already in love with damask. :-) The only problem is finding a pattern online to use, since I’m making the stationery myself. I only found one, so that’s the one I’m using! But I’d have liked more options.

Is it wrong that I have a fleeting wish to change my colours because this looks so fantastic?
The damask pattern I have is actually as nice as most things on that site, so I’ll just stick with what I’ve done. Thanks!
Mizz HS, Im sure your design will look even better! I still like your colours of including the red, it would go better with your hollywood theme. Plus if you do go with the oscar chocolates in gold, I think the red would look better :)
Dont stress about wanting to change your ideas, in fact, Im going to blog about this later hehe coz I changed my ideas too…
I’d like to see this damask idea with blue instead of green or red. That would look stunning!
