You just can’t have a wedding without flowers, but nobody said that your flowers have to be real. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a flower gal and I’m also no fan of fake flowers, but there are some really nice variations out there. Mizz Calla Lilly posted a nice blog on crystal bouquets, and another great option is Sinmay bouquets.

Using Sinmay fabric, and accented with twigs and crystals these bouquets are finished off really beautifully. Here are a few more design options…
Of course they woudl need to tie in with your theme, but so much can be done with Sinmay

Hmmm…to be honest, I’m not a fan of those! But each to his own. I much prefer the crystal ones! I was originally going to use these gorgeous, I-can’t-believe-they’re-not-real silk roses for my bouquet, but I changed my flower ideas since then! They were from a shop in Hyde Park Corner. R40 apiece. Most of the fake flowers you see are hideous, though.
Im not so sure I’d use them in my bouquet, but if you’re having a rustic-king of wedding, I think the one with the twigs looks rather nice. Maybe not as the brides bouquet, but maybe for the table decor.
