DIY beaded bookmark favours

May 15, 2008 | Posted by Queen Bee

When I was doing my wedding favours, I wanted bookmarks, and came across this really beautiful bookmark project which you can make yourself and personalise for your wedding favours.

These are really beautiful gifts and make for what I like to call functional-favours, something that your guests can actually use.  The nice thing about these is that you can personalise them to match your theme, by adding charms that fit in with your theme to the bookmark.

Here are the how-to, step by step images…

Very Cute, nice personal gift :)

When I first was planning my wedding I decided I was going to give serviette rings, wire beaded ones, so I sat and made 80 of the damn things and then I decided to do something different! Silly me! Hours of work wasted. They made nice presents though ;)

I also had these gorgeous bust-dolls that you put your make up brushes in for the girls. We filled them with almonds and put them on the tables. They were really stunning because they had a white satin outfit on which looked like a wedding dress. Have a look-see here: http://www.bridesbuzzing.com/2008/05/16/do-yourself-a-favour/

Im not sure in SA, maybe try those craft shops or bead shops? I think that site Kyledesigns.com has them available for purchase too :)

Good luck and let us know how they turn out :)
