Breakaway bouquet

This is such a great idea, instead of going for a standard wedding bouquet, have your florist create a breakaway, or fortune bouquet for you.  This is a collection of small bouquets, bunched together with ribbon, but when you’re holding it it looks like one big bouquet.

You can attach a small charm to each mini bouquet or have it printed on the ribbon with things like “The next to marry” or you can come up with your own ideas.

I wanted to do something like this for my reception, but changed my mind in the end, because I wanted a specific bouquet.  Anyways, when I was planning my toss bouquet I was going to have three mini bouquets, one with a bunch of pink, one with a bunch of white and one with a bunch of ivory roses.

I was going to have the pink one read “Romance”, the white one to read “Next to Marry” and the ivory ones to say “Good Fortune”

When you have your bouquet tossing, you untie the bouquet and throw it like that, so that it breaks away and more than one very eager girl gets a piece of the bridal bouquet.

Its also a good way to keep the gals from getting into a cat fight :)

What a cute idea! I’ve never heard of it before.
