For a stylish wedding with lots of rich, vibrant colour – why not have a Moroccan theme? I’ve been playing with an inspiration board for this kind of wedding and there is just so much you can do with these theme.

This theme is really bright and playful and you can let your creativity run wild. For instance you can…
Have satin cushions laid out all over the floor instead of having chairs
Have tents instead of an actual wedding venue
Hire a belly dancer as the evening’s entertainment
Smoke hubbly bubbly’s instead of having a cocktail hour
Have a really extravagant cake – yep, top right is a cake! Belive it

There is a venue near Centurion called Moya Matau, the whole inspiration for this venue is Moroccan, very nice!
Thanks Mizz Protea – Had a look for it online, and if anyone is interested, here is their website: http://www.moyamatau.co.za/
That venue is pretty aweseome. I wonder if it comes as part of the venue or if you pay seperately for the moroccan themed venue?
Mizz Magnolia
I visited Moya Matau on Saturday for my own wedding, and let me just say…”Wow”. The Moroccan theme is not at an extra charge. However, some of the other Moroccan decor can be hired from them.
Oh super stunning! are you having a full Moroccan theme? Would love to hear more about it as I find this kind of theme fascinating :)
Oh my, is that really a cake? its out of this world – amazing!
Divine theme – my cousins having a wedding like this in Nov – So I will keep her posted and add her ideas to :)
Who made that wedding cake? That’s exactly what I have in mind for my wedding! Please let me know ASAP if possible. Thanks
Hi
How much is the cake in the photo?
Thanks
Janine
Im not sure who made that cake, someone in the US? Best is to take that pic to your cake maker and ask them for a quote to recreate it.
If you guys are in Durban, there is a FABULOUS lady here that makes the most A-mazing cakes!
Check out the blog about it and follow the link to her online blog – http://www.bridesbuzzing.com/2008/05/23/cupcake-heaven/
She really is a MASTER!!!
