Im doubling my Liquorice Ice theme decor with the wedding favours, which Im making myself with my two best friends and bridesmaids. I want a candy bar for my wedding and was thinking of having different coloured liquorice in various sized jars.

I have never been to a wedding with a candy table or candy buffet, but I’ve read about during on of my many all-day sessions behind my mac. Instead of favours, you give the guests little bags so that they can fill them with what ever sweeties they want. I think this is a great idea, and the candy buffet looks so good, as part of the decor.
These are my sweet choices so far:
- Liquorice of course (long strands of it in high jars)
- Endearmints
- White Miniature Dream bars
- Coconut bars
- Biscuits dusted with icing sugar
- Dark chocolates in white wrappers
- Marshmellows
- White cotton candy/ candy floss
I also want to try make a sweet (or source it if I can) that’s black and white pinwheels. Please guys, I need some black sweet choices?

Hi,
I recently got married and we had a candy bar,It was a huge success. You have to have Ferrer Rochers(the black ones). We had small black shopper style bags made and had stickers printed to stick on the front.U can actually see a pic of it in the real wedding section, the B&W&Pink wedding. P.S.Five or Six bottles are a good number else you’ll be eating sweets for the next 6 months.
Hi Sassy
That candy table was really beautiful! I see you also had a black and white theme… Where did you find the black Ferrero Rochers? I dont thik ive seen them bu they look really good. What other sweets did you have in your selection?
Hi Mizz Magnolia
I bought them at checkers,I think most places stock them now.We also had pink+white candy almonds.Licorice.Marshmallows.Malt balls - black ones & white ones.Fortune cookies.Chocolate suckers & a few other choccies I bought at woolies that they had for Valentines day.Good Luck.
[…] I think they tie in perfectly with my black and white 40’s theme and they also fit in with my candy bar and all […]
