A lot of gals these days are moving away from the traditional white wedding dress and opting for ivory and even darker shades such as beige and cream.
I for one had an ivory dress, not because of any traditional things, but because in the white-white dress I looked like a merengue and it didnt go with my skin tone at all.

Mine is white. I tried it on in white and it looked good, so I didn’t consider ordering the ivory (it did come in both, so I could have). However it does have beading that’s more off-white, so it breaks the whiteness. My sister had ivory, though. I think both look beautiful, and you just have to go with what’s right for you!
Mine is white. Only white could do justice to the elegant lines of my dress and the beautifull beading. So I stuck with white.
Actually I don’t ever notice if a dress is white or ivory unless they’re next to each other!
