Cinderella Ribbon wands…

April 7, 2008 | Posted by Mizz Calla Lilly

When I first began planning our wedding , there were things that I wanted, but it made other people go ?? What? WHY?!  Are you mad ?

BUT I guess my latest will be the topoff….

After we booked the venue, we found out they have a “no throwing” policy… no petals, no rice.

And having a theme wedding I suppose having dog pellets would be the only thing that might fit. LOL

I began thinking, oh maybe ribbon wands are good idea! I even found a DIY kit on the internet! WOOHOOO

Here’s a link on how to make them…. http://www.printmyribbon.com/1167/articles/Wedding-Ribbon-Wand.html

Have a look at these, and tell me what you think ? I am still struggling on how to decorate mine…

Those are cute - they will make for really awesome pics Mizz CL. We had 40cm sparklers for ours, but not instead of confetti - we had them when we did our first dance . It looked awesome, and I cant wait for the pics to come…. anticipation, anticipation…

LOL, I picked up our Canvas cover sample at the bridal show this weekend, and it will look stunning! I bet you can’t wait!
Yep, I thought of maybe adding a ribbond with doggy paws my friend in Ohio send me ? That way it will fit perfectly ?

Ribbon Wands are a great addition to any wedding. They make a great gift for the flowergirl as well as a wonderful photography prop. Thanks for using my photos.

I adore the messages on them. They would also make lovely keepsakes, as opposed to confetti or rice which would be gone just like that. Another great idea that I saw implemented is blowing bubbles, all the children at a big wedding or guests at a small wedding are given a little heart-shaped bubble blower. That would be another option for a venure with a “no throwing” policy.
