I really liked the idea for my”Something Blue” - My mom finished off my inner tule skirt with a blue satin ribbon at the bottom which was a really nice touch - never mind that I stood on my tule running up the stairs - can’t wait for the pics from the photographer - hope he got that one….
She also sewed a beautiful Swarovski crystal “mati” or evil eye under the ribbon of my dress. Being a Greek gal, the evil eye was a must and Im glad I didn’t have to wear it as jewellery because I didn’t want anything other than my earrings. Perhaps I will one day give my daughter my evil eye to wear as her ’something old’????
