Creative guesbooks

Brides are coming up with innovative ideas to make their guest books more than just a collection of words from their guests.  While searching for guestbook ideas for my own wedding, I bumped into a few sites online suggesting that instead of having a simple guest book at your entrance table, you could get your guests to create a page using embellishments and their own unique creativity.

So, you would send them a blank page together with your invitation and ask them to decorate it how they please - then ask all the guests to please bring the piece of paper with them to the reception so that you can insert the decorated pages into your scrapbook, creating really special memories.

Another great idea, is to have your guests write on a blank card that fits neatly into your scrapbooking sleeve.  You can then decorate these with your own embellishments.  Why not leave an empty space open where you can insert a photo of the couple or family, and ask them to write something underneath - that way your guest book remains a more personal item and you get to actually use the photos of your guests instead of having them in a box that gets shoved in the cupboard.

If you search online you can find great ones from overseas, that don’t cost too much to post to SA….  Otherwise you can purchase books such as the image below.
