Hen Parties & Batchelorette’s

I can’t say that I’ve been to too many of these events in my life, but one seems to stick in my mind as vivid as the day I was there – I must have been about 11 or 12.

They dressed the poor bride to be up in a simply little leotard with fishnet stockings, attached to her butt was a fluffy white bunny tail complete with the bunny ears.

Hair we go…

My style icon for hair has always been Jennifer Aniston.  That woman has the most gorgeous hair and it always looks so fabulous!

Beautiful wedding photos

A great article I once read in one of my hundred-and-one bridal magazines suggested that you keep a scrapbook of all the wedding photos of the shots you like best to show them to your photographer so that he/she can get a good idea of what you’re looking for in wedding pics.

Table names

Something that we had which was different was instead of the usual numbers, I got a few love poems and named each of the eleven tables a symbol of love eg: Devotion, Honesty, Forever, Eternal, Essence, Embrace, Passion, Blessing, Destiny, Hope and Faith etc.

It was really nice and different and decorated each table name with a flower. We also ordered a rose for each ladies chair in the chapel and for the reception venue. We placed them in the centre of each tie back’s bow.

Ceremony Programs

My florist called me today to tell me that she found just what I was looking for (secrets, secrets hehe) and while I had her on the phone we discussed the idea of me having the cones filled with rose petals hanging from my chapel pews.
